Price of Freedom Museum summer 2022 schedule announced

HANCOCK — The Price of Freedom Museum, perhaps North America’s largest collection of Finnish war materials, memorabilia and artifacts, will be open to the public three days each week for the remainder of the summer.

Finlandia to celebrate 125th Anniversary, Juhannus in June

A year of anniversary celebrations will culminate in late June at Finlandia University, as the 125-year-old institution celebrates Juhannus (Midsummer) in a one-of-a-kind experience.

2022 Juried Student Exhibition Awards & Reception: Photo Gallery

On April 7, Finlandia’s International School of Art & Design hosted its annual reception and award ceremony for the 2022 Juried Student Exhibition. Friends, family, faculty and staff gathered at the Finlandia Reflections Gallery to view and discuss artwork submitted by students from across campus.  Finlandia University Gallery Director Carrie Flaspohler presented student awards in the categories of 2D, 3D, Freshman and a Purchase Award.

2022 Alumni Exhibit Virtual Tour | Finlandia University Gallery

Due to popular demand, the 2022 ISAD Alumni Exhibit has been extended until April 19.

“The public response to this exhibit has been exceptional,” Gallery Director Carrie Flaspohler said. “I have extended the exhibit until April 19th to allow for more in-person viewing, but if you are from out of the area, please enjoy this video tour of the exhibit.”

In December, Finlandia welcomed students, faculty and staff along with alumni, friends and family to a series of events in commemoration of the institution’s 125th anniversary.
