Finlandia University held its final Spring Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 7, honoring 92 graduates in the Class of 2023. Following commencement, a commendation service was held for Finlandia University students, staff, faculty, alumni, neighbors and friends, commending the University and its 126 years of service.

The 2023 Student Representative, Kaitlyn Lundeen, is a healthcare management major from Maple, Wisc. Lundeen earned a 3.92 grade point average and will be graduating Summa Cum Laude with an associate physical therapist assistant (PTA) degree, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Healthcare Management and a minor in psychology.

Finlandia University has finalized a Teach-Out Agreement with the University of Dubuque in Dubuque, Iowa. Finlandia University has finalized a Teach-Out Agreement with Waldorf University in Forest City, Iowa. Waldorf is Finlandia’s seventh official Teach-Out Institution, joining Michigan Technological University, Bay College, Adrian College, Wartburg College, Northern Michigan University and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.

Finlandia University will build on its boldest expression of affordability by easing eligibility requirements for the Rise Together Free Full Tuition Scholarship.
