Monkey Business in Calumet will need at least one Garment Embellisher for May through August. They print, embroider, and otherwise adhere designs that they create onto fashion tops, pants, socks, hats, drinkware, stickers, coasters, and similar products using cutting-edge, but simple technology. Products are sold in their own stores in Michigan and Wisconsin.
The ideal person for this job enjoys working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. You MUST be detail-oriented and precise. They will train you for all aspects of the job. You will be working with 1 or 2 other people in a spacious and open environment. Work hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 to 4:30 but can be VERY flexible. No weekends or holiday work required.
At least 20 hours per week in May with 35 to 40 hours per week from mid-June to mid-August. Great job and schedule for a student. They can be very flexible on a schedule if you are a self-starter who can work independently to accurately full fill production orders.

Established in 1971, Dial Help Community Support & Outreach Center is the UP’s only independent crisis center. They are recruiting dedicated individuals to join the Acute Crisis Assessment Team.
This position primarily involves conducting crisis/risk assessments in an ER setting, working with adults, children and families. The Acute Crisis Assessment Worker will consult and collaborate with colleagues, other community agencies, and with hospitals that provide inpatient care, to establish a comprehensive safety plan for those in crisis.
Qualified applicants must have at least a Bachelors degree in human services. At least 1 year of experience in the field of behavioral health preferred. This on-call position offers flexible scheduling and a competitive wages. The position includes being on-call (flexible scheduling provided whenever possible; days, evenings or weekends) to respond to hospital requests for crisis / suicide assessments to determine level of care and possible inpatient placements. Positions include daily/nightly/holiday on-call pay as well as hourly pay (inclusive of travel time) to conduct the assessment. Mileage reimbursement will also be provided.

The MSU Extension Health and Nutrition Institute is looking for Community Nutrition Instructors in Crawford, Gogebic, Menominee/Delta, and Cheboygan/Presque Isle counties.
The Community Nutrition Instructor is responsible for the delivery of nutrition and physical activity education programs. In this role, you will conduct both in-person and virtual programming created with a diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) lens, with eligible youth and adult audiences that also supports understanding of critical issues facing these audiences, as defined by federally funded grant programs, including but not limited to SNAP-Ed (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education) and/or EFNEP (Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program).
In addition to direct education with participants, you will provide policy, system and environmental (PSE) coaching within community sites, develop and maintain community partnerships for programming opportunities, work to identify and remove barriers from participation, and gather, review and enter data for impact and evaluation efforts. You will support HNI’s efforts in DEI, with a special emphasis on reaching diverse populations. You will identify and enhance programming tools and delivery strategies. While focusing on federal grant compliance, you will work in concert with HNI and work teams to ensure
alignment of programs with the overall goals of work teams, MSUE, HNI, and the organization. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential elements vital to the culture MSUE endeavors to cultivate.

InterAction is offering several internships, currently available remotely. A stipend of $1,000 is provided along with a robust professional development program which includes workshops, trainings, and educational opportunities. Internships run from mid-May to mid-August with flexible start and end dates. We have two excellent part-time paid internship opportunities available for current college students who are majoring in Healthcare Management, Communications, or a related field of study. This is a temporary position working 20 hours per week from March, 2021 – September, 2021.
This is an hourly paid position at $15 per hour. Training will be provided by OCHIN.
Must be currently enrolled as a student in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s program with the ability to work independently, think analytically and make sound judgments. Must have a great attitude, willingness to learn, and demonstrated reliability.
