Greeting passengers, issuing tickets, providing seat assignments, checking baggage, boarding flights, re-booking passengers, all in a prompt and friendly manner
Escorting passengers and special needs customers safely and courteously
An ISE (International Student Exchange) Area Representative is a person who is certified through the U.S. Department of State to place and supervise International Exchange Students with Host families. Camp Blessing Texas is a 15-year-old, award-winning, Christian summer camp located just outside of Brenham, Texas. Their goal and mission is to provide help and hope to people of all abilities through Christ-centered camp experiences. We serve and show the love of Jesus to children and young adults with special needs by giving them the best week of their lives in a barrier-free environment that surrounds them with love, acceptance, and fun. It’s the summer camp experience tailored and made accessible for all, and over 700 campers get to experience this life-changing ministry each year. Camp Blessing Texas is hiring for a variety of seasonal internship and staff positions including Administrative Intern (summer), Marketing/Recruitment Intern (spring or fall), Cabin Leader (summer), Activity Leaders (summer). The Social Work Department and Center for Native American Studies at NMU, in conjunction with the Walking the Path Together Project, seek to support and connect interested students with rural tribal communities for internship placements. The programs also seek to advance education in Native American Studies and work with victims of crime in Indigenous communities with an emphasis on Great Lakes Indigenous perspectives.
Undergraduate students will enroll in a summer course that includes a 96-hour paid internship. Students will complete a summer course while placed in a tribally run victim services program located within an Indigenous community throughout the Upper Peninsula.
Ideal candidates will have some knowledge of Native American studies, cultural competency, and a background in criminal justice, sociology, psychology or other field related to social work.
