On Saturday, January 25 author of “Suomalaiset“, Mark Munger will be visiting North Wind Books for a book signing and author discussion.

Munger recently released the final book in his historical trilogy, Kotimaa. In his new release, readers follow immigrant Anders Alhomaki on his journey from Finland to Minnesota in the 1890s to Finland’s Centennial Independence Day.

All employees and students are invited to have a professional portrait taken on Friday, January 23 at the Finlandia Hall Dining Room. This session will run from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

Michigan Tuition Grant Reinstated, Increased by State Legislature

Students across the state of Michigan can finally breathe easier now that the Michigan Tuition Grant has been reinstated.

With the first semester of the school year complete, admissions officer Luke Paul dropped by Finlandia Fridays to tell host Olivia Myers more about FinnU’s Dual enrollment program for eligible high school students.

Sherry Wyeth joined the Finlandia University’s College of Health and Science recruitment staff this past semester. Her expertise in building relationships translates directly to university admissions work.
