All students required to complete Daily Covid-19 Symptom Tracker beginning Aug. 6

In an effort to keep the campus community safe, all Finlandia University students will be required to complete the Daily Covid-19 Symptom Tracker Survey beginning August 6. The survey will be emailed to all students daily at midnight and takes approximately 1 minute to complete. Students are asked to complete the form daily in the weeks leading up to the start of classes. Once classes begin, students only need to complete the form if coming to campus or residing on campus.

Daily symptom screening, in combination with other protocols, is identified to lower the risk of transmission. After completing the survey, students will be told whether they are cleared to come to campus or leave their dorm. Students who are not given the ‘all clear’ will be contacted by Dean of Students Erin Barnett to determine the next course of action, which may include a referral to an on-campus nurse practitioner for free Covid-19 testing. 

Faculty and staff have been completing the Daily Covid-19 Symptom Tracker Survey this summer and will continue to do so.
