$3,000 scholarships available for new RN-BSN students

March 25, 2015

The College of Health Sciences at Finlandia University has three $3,000-per-year scholarships available for incoming students in the RN-BSN program. These scholarships are available immediately. Apply now.

Note: As of January 2015 all scholarships have been claimed.

Finlandia’s RN-BSN program is designed to meet the needs of the working, adult learner. Web-based technologies are utilized along with a faculty-directed-independent-study designed to provide the flexibility needed for adult-learner success. The program is designed to take two years. Discounts are available for on-line classes, alumni of Finlandia University and nurses at Finlandia’s many clinical partners throughout the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

“Our program is significantly more affordable than many of the popular universities that only offer online options,” said Mark Miron, program director. “These scholarships make it even more affordable, and provide a great opportunity for working associate degree nurses to take that step up to a BSN degree, which employers are increasingly seeking.”

The scholarships require a minimum of five credits per semester. Students must remain in good academic and social standing as recognized by the university. Recipients must demonstrate continuous engagement in community service-related activities.
