Upcoming event featuring student rights activist, C.L. Lindsay

C.L. Lindsay will present on Wednesday, August 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the Finnish American Heritage Center as part of the It’s On Us event series. Following his talk, the Student Senate will host an It’s On Us pledging session.

Lindsay, an attorney and National leader for student rights and academic freedom, is returning to campus, in the spirit of the Finlandia It’s On Us campaign. Lindsay will present on sex and the law, and your rights as a student. Gain insights about Title IX; alarming sexual assault culture; consequences to illegal actions; methods of intervention and protection; and resources for survivors of assault, harassment, and bullying.

Lindsay is the founder and Executive Director of the Coalition for Student & Academic Rights (CO-STAR.) It’s On Us Series

Finlandia University has joined the efforts of the National It’s On Us campaign to raise awareness about the realities of sexual assault, and provide ways to change this distressing culture. Pledge It’s On Us to end sexual violence.
