Local prospective students who are interested in college are welcome to join Finlandia on November 27 and 29 for a blue carpet event.
Come find out what life is like at FinnU by taking a campus tour where attendees will get to see Finlandia Hall’s spacious dorm rooms, the Jutila Center’s beautiful art studios, the newly renovated Paavo Nurmi Center and discover degree programs the university has to offer.
Another benefit is that any student who attends Blue Carpet Day and commits to Finlandia the same day will automatically receive a $250 scholarship to Finlandia.
Students can talk with admissions officers and a financial aid counselor. They can also apply for admission to Finlandia at the event. Students who bring a copy of their high school and/or college transcripts can receive an admissions decision before they leave. Students who have already completed the FAFSA could also see an accurate financial aid projection and get their financial aid award the same day. Those who haven’t will be invited to start the process with the help of a financial aid consoler.
