Black History Month: Movie Night At Wargelin 303

The Black Student Union presents the movies, 42 and Friday. Bring your own drinks and snacks. Free popcorn.

FEBRUARY 7, 9-10 PM: KARAOKE NIGHT AT DOWNTOWNER LOUNGE

The Michigan Tech Black Student Association is hosting Karaoke Night at the Downtowner Lounge in Houghton. Participants under 21 are welcome and will be given a wristband at the entrance.

FEBRUARY 14, 6-9 PM: MOVIE NIGHT AT MAKI LIBRARY

The Black Student Union presents the movies Fruitvale Station and Us. Bring your own drinks. BSU will sell snacks. Free popcorn.

FEBRUARY 18, 6-7:30 PM: BLACK HISTORY JEOPARDY AT FINLANDIA HALL LOUNGE

Come test your knowledge of Black History.

FEBRUARY 20, 7-8:30 PM: MOVIE NIGHT AT MAKI LIBRARY

The Black Student Union and the Maki Library present Freedom Summer. Bring snacks, blankets, and pillows, and join us for a movie night in the library.

FEBRUARY 21, 6:30-8:30 PM: EBONY STEWART SPOKEN WORD/POETRY

Open mic poetry slam with Ebony Stewart. Tickets are available for $15. Students who are TRIO SSS participants can get free tickets by contacting Nick Kwiek before February 19. Finlandia will provide transportation leaving at 6:30 pm and return after the event.
