Online Certificate Programs at Finlandia

Finlandia is excited to offer multiple online certificates beginning Fall 2020 for people interested in expanding their knowledge on a number of different topics.

Our certificates are designed with the working professional in mind. Each certificate consists of four five-week courses that can be completed on one’s own schedule. E-learners may take up to two courses simultaneously and complete the certificate in as few as 10 weeks. E-learners may also elect to take one course at a time to complete the certificate in 20 weeks.


Finlandia’s online certificates are competitive with the current market. Each certificate is $1,596 total ($399 per course), with no additional charges for textbooks or hidden fees. Not interested in a full certificate but want to brush up on a specific skill? Courses are available á la carte! Simply select the course(s) you want to take and checkout.

Certificate programs are not eligible for Federal Student Aid.

Online Learning

Each certificate is offered online only, allowing e-learners to obtain the certification from anywhere in the United States. Although the courses will be online, they have been designed to be engaging, interactive and collaborative for all who participate.








E-learners will be able to originate skills in marketing for a business to enhance the article at stake. The marketing tools developed will build employer financials and secure the future of the organization.

Courses offered: Principles of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, Marketing for Small Business

Sport Management

E-learners will construct management skills in the field of sports, allowing for investigation of best practices and options for teams, planning and integration of events.

Courses offered: Facility and Game Event Management, Sports Marketing, Sport Business and Finance, Athletic Administration and International Sport

Teaching & Learning: Professional Development

E-learners will generate best practices of teaching and learning into the students or faculty that they serve, as it relates to continued professional development, personal growth, and the service of our minds to secure their learning experiences and provide the best possible outcomes. This program will reflect on previous history and provide research on why the practices have changed over time.

Courses offered: Learning Styles & Differentiation, Aligning Assessments to Goals/Objectives, Methods & Strategies in Teaching, Integrating Technology in the Learning Environment
