THE BEAUTY OF MIXING BUSINESS WITH DESIGN

The Marketing and Graphic Design program is built to provide students with the skills to conceptualize and design marketing materials, while truly understanding the marketing implications of what they’re producing. It’s a program that allows students to communicate visually, while still exploring their business interests.

The program will enable graduates to work effectively in industry-standard creative teams, moving from logically identifying and assessing consumer needs and desires to the design of effective promotional graphic materials. The program will develop a student who is proficient in marketing and graphic design which emphasizes the benefit of such dual-proficiency in a team.

CREATIVE PROCESS

Our graphic design studio is fully equipped and provides students with Mac computers, drawing tablets and collaborative spaces to unleash their creative abilities. The layout of the studio was also thoughtfully designed to promote the sharing of ideas between students and faculty, which allows for an unmatched experience in gain experiential learning to develop skills and concepts.

SKILLS FOR TODAY’S JOB MARKET

The beauty of the marketing and graphic design concentration is that students learn in-depth about the creative process and are able to complement it with marketing knowledge.

Students are able to develop layouts for various applications such as logos, websites, product illustrations, advertisements, brochures, magazines and corporate reports. They research the best way to market, promote and sell the work they’ve created. This degree was made for today’s job market.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Upon completion of the Bachelor of Business Administration degree program, International School of Business graduates will be able to do the following:

  1. Students will be able to communicate the Principles of Marketing and Graphic Design, while displaying their relation to each other
  2. Students can apply knowledge of marketing and graphic practices to professional ventures and produce quality design work.
  3. Students can access the strength and limitations of chosen marketing platforms/materials in relation to the business and its future.
  4. Students will display a sense of the need for the required research, analytics, and development – Can draw from and distinguish appropriate sources.
  5. Students will display competence, curiosity, drive, and determination that will persist beyond graduation
