North Wind Books hosting Children’s Unique Books series

Free events to be hosted every Monday in July

North Wind Books is hosting a four-part series of events this July titled Children’s Unique Books. These events will highlight unique themed children’s books and each feature a special guest host. Events are free, open to the public and no RSVP is required. Each event begins at 11 a.m.

Volunteer event at McAfee Field moved to July 7

The Finlandia University Athletic Department’s Beautification Committee is seeking alumni, students, staff, faculty and community members to help at McAfee Field on Friday, July 7 at 9 a.m. This was originally scheduled for June 23 but was rescheduled due to rain. It was moved again from Thursday to Friday because of rain.

Pam Brown to lead PTA program at Finlandia University

Highly educated and experienced physical therapist comes to Hancock from Newberry

Finlandia University’s Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program is now being led by experienced physical therapist Pam Brown, PT, MPT, CIMT. The Lift announced as Official Voice of Finlandia University Athletics

Finlandia University is proud to announce that 99.3 FM “The Lift” will be the voice of Finlandia University Athletics.

“This agreement between The Lift and Finlandia is a great opportunity not only for our athletic department but for the university as a whole,” said Athletic Director Curtis Wittenberg. “Having a voice for Finlandia athletics is another piece to the growth of our department.”
