Why Business?

Simply because business is involved in nearly every day-to-day activity in our lives. Wherever you want to go in life, business will get you there.

Why the ISB?

Finlandia University offers more than business.  Our programs combine business and the liberal arts with uncommon attention to students.  Teaching is our number one priority.  A close second is easy access to faculty for advising and career planning.   Our educational philosophy is one of diversity and choice - our programs will help you examine your skills, explore your interests, and pave the path to your future.

Why the mix of business and liberal arts?

Because we believe this approach gives our graduates the broad knowledge base needed to succeed in the workplace and adapt to changes throughout their careers.  Government statistics indicate that college graduates change jobs more than three times during their first ten years of work.  To succeed in this environment, you must know how to create and evaluate new ideas, think critically, write and speak well, and work effectively with others.
