Alumni & Friends Volunteer Opportunities at Finlandia
Are you interested in volunteering for Finlandia? A number of university departments always welcome alumni, parents and friends who are willing to give some of their time. If any of the following opportunities seem a good fit for you, please contact the persons listed below to learn more and express your interest.
Admissions The Admissions Department welcomes alumni volunteers to assist in the recruitment of future students. Volunteers may act as a contact and resource for high school guidance offices in their communities, speaking with interested students on behalf of the university and keeping the guidance office supplied with current recruiting materials. Taking it a step further, alumni volunteers could represent Finlandia at college fair events in geographic areas not typically covered by Admissions staff. In either case, volunteers would get training and be supplied with the appropriate materials. Contact: Kitti Loukus, Associate Director of Admissions (906) 487-7208/274 kitti.loukus@finlandia.edu
