Anne Stein, PhD(c), COHN-S, FNP-BC, RN
Teaching and Interests: Currently teaching the theory and clinical components of Pediatric Nursing and Medical-Surgical Nursing at the junior level.
Education: Ms. Stein earned her Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Bay de Noc CC (1994), Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) from Northern Michigan University (1995), Masters of Science degree in Nursing (MSN) from Northern Michigan University (1998), and is currently completing her doctoral degree (PhD) in Health Science from Trident University International. Ms. Stein has also earned an Associate degree in Science (AD) from Bay de Noc CC (1988), Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education with a concentration in Mathematics from Northern Michigan University (1991).
Professional Experience: Long-Term Care, Medical-Surgical, Surgical Care Unit, Emergency Department, Ambulatory Care Unit, Advanced Practice Nursing as a Family Nurse Practioner with the Health Department, Community Nursing, outpatient clinic nursing, occupational health, and nursing management/leadership.
Professional Development: Ms. Stein holds certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Occupational Health Nurse Specialist, hearing conservation, spirometry testing, breath alcohol testing, hair drug testing, and BCLS.
