TRiO Student Support Services
Each TRiO/SSS participant is assigned to a TRiO/SSS contact person.
This contact person is who you initially meet with when you join TRiO Student Support Services.
Your contact person will complete an IAP (Individual Academic Plan) with you.
An IAP consists of:
The academic contact will communicate with you a minimum of 6 times a year in person, over the phone, or by email at the following points.
All students should feel free to stop in at the TRiO Student Support Services offices anytime and as often as you like.
Some students stop in almost everyday just to say "Hi!" Others stop in only when they have a question. Sometimes the question is simply,"What time is lunch in the cafeteria?"
We have an open door policy. Stop by at any time for any reason.
There is always someone in the office. Any one of the staff members can assist you.
REMEMBER: You must complete your IAP intake interview at the beginning of the year to receive any of the TRiO/SSS services.
