A first-rate home base for Finlandia University student-athletes

The 25,000 square-feet "Lion's Den" will be a first-rate home base for multiple Finlandia University varsity athletic programs. Its facilities can accomodate more than 250 Finlandia student-athletes, coaches, and training staff in its locker rooms, offices, training rooms, and sports medicine suite.

Focus your thoughts on ... the hundreds of students, student-athletes, coaches, staff, spectators, and community members who will participate in the emotion-filled excitement of intercollegiate and interscolastic sport competitions at this one-of-a-kind regional complex.

Think about it  ... The opportunity to share in the vision and legtacy of the Athletic Complex--like Sandy and Marianna McAfee have--can be realized through more than 50 additional naming opportunities.

The need is two-fold ...

In the near term, added athletic program space at the Lion's Den Field House will accomodate the steady growth of current sports programs. Strategically, to meet goals for enrollment growth through new Division III sports programs, additional training, practice, and competition spaces are essential. The Field House, in tandem with the lifghted regulatioon compettion field, will be a prime asset Finlandia can be proud of, helping us successfully recruit, enroll, and retian more students and student-athletes.
