Position SummaryThe Writing Tutor primarily delivers individual and group tutorial assistance to Finlandia students in core subjects. The Writing Tutor teams with other tutors to offer tutorial services in English and writing. Tutors may present short student workshops in their subject area or another college success topic.

Academic Success Coach

Position SummaryThe Academic Success Coach supports students through coordinating and implementing a variety of academic support programs, including but not limited to individualized and small group learning activities, intrusive advising, and monitoring academic progress. The Academic Success Coach is responsible for arranging services and providing accommodations to eligible students with disabilities, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, and all other related rules, regulations and guidelines. The Academic Success Coach will oversee The Tutoring and Learning Center (TLC), coordinate the hiring and training of student tutors, and manage TLC events and activities. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to student success, along with a strong commitment to promoting student engagement in the broader university community.

Position SummaryThe Strength & Conditioning Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of a successful intercollegiate athletic program. The Strength & Conditioning Coordinator is expected to work as a team-player with primary responsibilities of coordinating all aspects of the Strength & Conditioning program, and Strength and Conditioning Center. The Strength & Conditioning Coordinator should foster student personal growth and development as well athletic achievement. The Strength & Conditioning Coordinator is viewed as a mentor within the athletic department.

Assistant Registrar

Head Coach Women’s Softball

Position Summary: The Head Coach is responsible for the development and implementation of a successful intercollegiate women’s softball program by fulfilling specific job responsibilities in the intercollegiate athletic department. The Head Coach is expected to work as a team-player with primary responsibilities of coordinating all aspects of our women’s softball program and adhering to all NCAA rules for the sport of softball. The Head Coach should foster student personal growth and development as well academic and athletic achievement.
