Coordinator of Student Engagement and Leadership

Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Director Academic Success and Student Life, the successful candidate will assist in developing robust co-curricular programming to create a campus community rich in cultural, educational, social, and recreational events and related activities that promote leadership, well-being, diversity, and inclusion. The Coordinator is under general direction of the Director of Academic Success and Student Life, but works independently of close supervision in building a strong sense of community. The Coordinator of Student Engagement and Leadership also mentors students, develops student leaders, and supports student organizations. The Coordinator is sensitive to the differing needs of students and faculty. Within the FERPA guidelines, the Coordinator exercises diplomacy and confidentiality in contact with parents and other constituents.

Summer Program Foreign Language Instructor

Position Summary: The Foreign Language Instructor will teach a language class to high school-aged youth during a five-week, on-campus summer program.

Resident Assistant, Summer Program

TENTATIVE DATES OF SUMMER PROGRAM: Monday, June 15, 2015 – Saturday, July 25, 2015
TENTATIVE ALL STAFF TRAINING: Thursday, June 11-12, 2015

Position Summary: Resident Assistant (RA) is responsible for the overall care, safety, and well-being of all of the participants in the summer program, with special attention to those students assigned to your core group. The number of students assigned to an RA will vary between four and seven, depending on the number of students attending. The program employs both male and female RA’s to adequately serve the gender-diverse program participants.

Overnight Assistant, Summer Program

Position Summary: The Overnight Assistant (OA) is responsible for the overall care, safety, and well-being of all of the participants in the summer program. The OA will be on overnight duty, generally four nights per week from 11:30 p.m. - 8:30 a.m. along with a resident assistant (RA).

Registrar

Department: Registrar’s Office (5520)
Supervisor: Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs

Position Summary: The Registrar is responsible for updating, maintaining, and safeguarding student academic and enrollment records in compliance with federal law, state law, and accreditation agencies thus serving as the official authorized custodian of the university’s student records. This position also functions as the main resource for FERPA regulations. The successful candidate will take the lead in recommending academic policies and implementing procedures that fit the mission of the university and enhance the recruitment and persistence of students.

Head Coach, Women’s Soccer

Position Summary: The Head Coach, Women’s Soccer, is responsible for the development and implementation of a successful intercollegiate women’s soccer program by fulfilling specific job responsibilities in the intercollegiate Athletic Department. The Head Coach is expected to work as a team-player with primary responsibilities to coordinate all aspects of the women’s soccer program and adhere to all NCAA rules for the sport of women’s soccer. The Head Coach fosters student personal growth and development, as well academic and athletic achievement. The Head Coach is viewed as a mentor and advocate of equity and diversity within the Athletic Department.
