Application DeadlinesApplications for admission are accepted at any time as decisions on acceptance are made on a rolling basis. Some programs, however, have specific application deadlines as outlined in the table below. Priority dates are also set to assure students full consideration for financial aid. Notification of Acceptance to the UniversityThe student must submit all of the required documents to complete the admission file. When all documents have been received and evaluated, the student will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance to the university. Following notification of acceptance, the student will receive information relating to course registration, room reservation and check-in, and further information regarding application to a specific program. Admission on WarningAdmission on academic warning may be granted to freshmen students if the high school GPA is less than 2.0, or the GED score is 48-52 or 480-520. The Admissions Committee will review the student's file for acceptance or denial. Students accepted on academic warning are required to take UNS 103, College and Career Practices, and are limited to registering for 14 credits in the first semester of enrollment at Finlandia University. Any student admitted on academic warning who fails to meet the required satisfactory academic standing will be placed on academic probation for the following semester and limited to 14 credits.
