Finlandia Fridays is back with a special edition today as Olivia Myers and Devin O’Neill were introduced as cohosts of the weekly interview series. O’Neill and Myers will taking over for season four, taking turns interviewing guests.

International Business alumnus Walker Enstad (’17) finds success at Freud America

Walker Enstad (’17), an alumnus of the International Business program in the International School of Business, shares some insight into life after college and what he enjoyed most about attending Finlandia. Jarmond and Enstad recognized as Outstanding Seniors in ISB

Students from the Finlandia University International School of Business were recognized during a luncheon on Thursday, April 13, 2017. The intimate luncheon was hosted at the Jutila Center. Students, faculty, and staff from the school gathered to celebrate the accomplishments of the seniors, including recognizing Walker Enstad and Schwartzen Jarmond as co-Outstanding Seniors. Finlandia honors 117 for academic achievement during fall semester

Finlandia University is proud to announce its Fall 2016 semester Dean’s and Honors List Students. In total 117 students earned honors, including 63 who earned Dean’s List honors for having a Grade Point Average of 3.75 or above.

Finlandia gains new Snapchat filter

Quick, pull out your phone, open Snapchat, take that perfect selfie and start swiping. Why? Because the Finlandia University Snapchat filter is officially active!

The filter can be applied to any photo or video taken on Finlandia’s main campus – reaching roughly from the Paavo Nurmi Center to Old Main.

The filter features a Finnish flag-inspired design, and it’s of course free for anyone to use. It was designed by Finlandia’s Creative Director Brad Beaudette.

Photos + Video: Service and Learning in Tanzania 2016

Six Finlandia University students and two staff members traveled to Tanzania in May for the 11th annual Service and Learning in Tanzania experience.

During their three weeks in Tanzania, students participate in curricular and co-curricular activities at Kisarawe Lutheran Jr. Seminary (a secondary school), shadow nurses at the national hospital, and stay with host families. These relationship building opportunities along with accompanying reflection activities help students grow in their understanding of Servant Leadership and engage in self-exploration.
