Lindsay King-Miller has been selected as the Finlandia University Campus Read 2018 author. She will be at the Finnish American Heritage Center on Oct. 15, discussing her book Ask A Queer Chick: A Guide to Sex, Love, and Life for Girls Who Dig Girls.

This week Finlandia Fridays was visited be senior communication major Travis Cornwell. Originally from Minnesota, Cornwell stated “Finlandia kind of found me. I was in Vegas at a showcase for hockey, and they were one of the last schools to look at me, so I decided to give them a chance. Campus Read comes to a close on Thursday, October 20 from 7-9 p.m. at the Maki Library, as Communication Professor Dr. Monique Bourdage hosts a Zine Making Night to celebrate self-expression and provide students with a platform through which to channel their voices.
