Finlandia hosting Studio Days for aspiring artists

Soup & Meet with Campus Ministry continues next Wednesday

At 5 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of each month Finlandia University Campus Ministry will be hosting Soup & Meet at Chapel of St. Matthew. This is a great opportunity to gather with your peers at the university, as well as enjoy a delicious meal, including soup and refreshments.

Two U.P. students win 2017 Brule Scholarship

$20,000 scholarship for art students earned by local students

Alumni push leads to record video views and $1,500 in donations

A social media push by International School of Art & Design (ISAD) alums in July ended with more than $1,500 in donations or pledges, 16,000 video views and more than 500 video shares.

“I am so impressed and pleased at the dedication of the ISAD alumni,” said Denise Vandeville, dean of the school. “I applaud their determination to help us share the distinct experience that is an education at Finlandia University’s International School of Art & Design.”

Aspiring artists invited to portfolio review session at Finlandia

Aspiring artists are invited to Finlandia University’s International School of Art & Design (ISAD) in March and April for portfolio review/open house sessions at the Jutila Center. A total of 12 sessions will take place, beginning March 10 and finishing up April 7.

Finlandia announces $20,000 art and design scholarship competition

Thanks to the generous support of David and Elsa Brule, Finlandia University is proud to announce a three-year commitment totaling $120,000 in art and design scholarships.
