MEET GINA GELICHE Hometown: Union Grove, WI Major: Fiber & Fashion Design Groups: Servant Leadership House and Helsinki Slang Year: Senior When Gina Geliche started as a student at Finlandia University three years ago, she wasn’t planning on majoring in Fiber and Fashion Design.

Deadline to apply for $20,000 competitive art scholarship at Finlandia is May 3

Finlandia University is accepting applications for the $20,000 Dave and Elsa Brule Scholarship now through May 3. This is a competitive scholarship for incoming students interested in studying art and design in Finlandia’s International School of Art & Design (ISAD). Students can apply online at finlandia.edu/artscholarship.

Levi Grannis and Hannah Scott-Moore dropped by Finlandia Fridays this week to talk about the annual Diploma Works Exhibition. Potential partnership between institutions being discussed

On November 10, 2017, President Dr. Philip Johnson, International School of Art & Design Dean Denise Vandeville, and Dr. Richard Gee, Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice, toured the studios and facilities of the Beihai Art and Design Institute, China. Stepping into Studio Days with Denise Vandeville

Finlandia Fridays was visited this week by Denise Vandeville, Dean of the International School of Art and Design (ISAD), to discuss a new opportunity being offered to high school students called Studio Days.
