Putting “Student” into “Student Athlete”Brittney flew into Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula as a high school senior, and immediately fell in love with it. It offered her exactly the kind of atmosphere she wanted: A small campus with a personal touch. This is the place she was going to come to play NCAA Division III hockey.
