Third Session of Adulting 101 to Take Place on April 16

The third session of Adulting 101 will take place April 16 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Chapel of St. Matthew.

This session will host three speakers. Accounting professor Laura Sieders will discuss the importance of budgeting and how to be a smart investor. How to navigate student loans will be presented by Director of Student Financial Services Sandy Turnquist. Finally, Human Resource Manager Alyson DeLandsheer will explain work benefits and what they mean.

Alyson DeLandsheer promoted to Human Resources Manager

Finlandia University is pleased to announce that Alyson DeLandsheer has been promoted to the role of Human Resources Manager. DeLandsheer joined the Finlandia family in 2016 and previously worked as the Coordinator of University Relations.

“I’m so excited about this new position,” she said. “I enjoy solving problems and making better processes, and I get to do this with my new position.”

Scott Cuillo, Plan Sponsor Consultants and John Style, Empower/Great West will be here on Campus Friday, October 13 to meet with employees regarding Finlandia University’s 403 (b) retirement plan. New process to reserve space at Jutila/FAHC

Finlandia University will no longer be using CaterTrax to book room reservations at the Finnish American Heritage Center and Jutila Center. The new process for requesting a room reservation is to fill out the form here, https://finlandiauniversity.typeform.com/to/T3mwlR.

Meet Alyson DeLandsheer, new Coordinator of University Relations

Finlandia is proud to introduce Alyson DeLandsheer, one of the newest additions to the Finlandia University family. DeLandsheer takes a lead role at our university as the Coordinator of University Relations.
