Spring 2018 Finals Week Activities

Don’t miss out on these fun Finals Week Activities!

Sunday, April 22

  • Late Night Tutoring from 7 p.m. -10 p.m. in Finlandia Hall. Get prepared for finals week with TRIO and TLC Tutors. At least six professional tutors will be available to help in topics ranging from math, English, science, psychology and more!
  • Late Night Breakfast from 10 p.m. -11 p.m. at the Finlandia Hall Café. Free and open to all students.

Monday, April 23

  • Chair Massages from 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in Finlandia Hall
  • Yoga Chill from 7:30 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. at the first floor lounge in Finlandia Hall
  • Sulo and Aileen Maki Library open until midnight

Tuesday, April 24

  • Yard Games in Nikander from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Take a break from the stresses of finals week with Yard Games in Nikander! A couple corn hole sets, a life-size Jenga set and spike ball will all be setup in the hallway near 5th & Elm in Nikander Hall. Stop by anytime between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to enjoy the yard games. There will also be a pair of corn hole tournaments with prizes for the winners, these tournaments will be at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. These event is being hosted by TRIO Student Support Services and all students are invited to stop by and hang out!
  • Sulo and Aileen Maki Library open until midnight

  • Diploma Works from 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the Finlandia University Gallery located in the Finnish American Heritage Center. The artworks featured in the annual Diploma Works Exhibit represent the final body of student work for each graduating bachelor of fine arts (BFA) student. The works include intensive research projects, series of individual artworks, and design prototypes. A variety of media is represented, including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramic design, textile design and graphic design.
