Scott Hendrickson Named Head of Security at Finlandia

Scott Hendrickson was promoted to the Head of Security at Finlandia University. Hendrickson has served as a Security Officer with the University since 2008.

Hendrickson was born and raised in Hancock. He began his degree in Criminal Justice at Red Rocks Community College in Colorado and is currently working on finishing his degree here at Finlandia. 

“I worked for several years as a Deputy Sheriff in a jail in Colorado,” said Hendrickson about why he chose this career. “It’s just a field that I’ve always seemed to be interested in.”

As the Head of Security, Hendrickson and his team enforce Finlandia’s policies and help resolve problems with student conduct. His favorite part about working at Finlandia is the people he gets to work with and getting to interact with students from all around the world. 

When he isn’t working at Finlandia, Hendrickson enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
