Lutheran Social Services accepting online donations for flood victims

The Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan (LSS) is now accepting donations on its website for flood victims in Houghton County and surrounding areas. All funds collected will be used for direct support of affected residents for immediate supplies for survival and long term recovery. Anyone interested in donating may do so here.

Created in 1882 in Wisconsin, LSS focuses on health and human services programs. They offer services pertaining to adoption, foster care, refugees and immigrants, mental health, youth and families, senior living, housing and homelessness, disabilities, addiction and restorative justice.
