Finlandia Recognized as One of the Best Christian Schools for Psych Majors

Finlandia University has been named one of the 2019 Best Christian Schools for Psychology Students by Psychology Degree Guide.

“It’s wonderful that Finlandia has been recognized as a university that has the resources available to fulfill students’ spiritual needs, making students happier, healthier and better equipped to reach their potential,” said Brittany Nelson, Visiting Professor of Psychology.

This is the first time that FinnU has been recognized on this list. The school was ranked 20^th out of the 50 schools that made the cut. Finlandia was one of two schools from Michigan and one of two ELCA schools.

“While the psychology courses at Finlandia are scientifically based and therefore teach students to conduct and understand science, it’s wonderful that the environment, mentors and classes are available to equip students to help others spiritually for those who wish to pursue it,” said Nelson.
