Finlandia Hall hosting Walk to End Alzheimer’s fundraiser

Walk to End Alzheimers HoughtonFinlandia University is a proud partner in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s event that is taking place in the Finnish American Heritage Center on September 10, starting at 10 a.m.

Along with Finlandia students and employees walking in the event, FinnU will be holding a raffle for a small Finlandia gift basket, graciously donated by North Wind Books, during student check-ins in Finlandia hall. Each ticket is $2, and a winner will be drawn on August 25 at 4 p.m. The winner will be announced on the Student Life at Finlandia University Facebook page.

Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease , the nation’s sixth leading cause of death. We walk to support those in our community who are dealing with this devastating disease. We walk to raise awareness and funds to advance research and to provide and enhance care and support for all affected.
