On April 11 TRIO Student Support Services held a TRIO Awards Night to recognize top TRIO achievers at Finlandia University during the 2016-17 academic year.

Students honored at the event included Honors and Deans List students from the Fall 2016 semester, 2016-17 graduates, MI TRIO Student Leaders, SISU, Peer Mentor of the Year, Work Study of the Year, Most Improved GPA, Greatest number of hours engaged in tutoring, Spirit of TRIO for most involvement in program activities and Top GPA.
