Darren Bausano welcomed to SCAS and ISB at Finlandia University

Finlandia University is happy to welcome Darren Bausano to the university’s family. Bausano is serving as the Administrative Assistant for Suomi College of Arts & Sciences and International School of Business.

Bausano has a bachelor’s degree in sports science from Northern Michigan University. One of the things that attracted Bausano to Finlandia was the opportunity to continue his education. He’s intending on taking courses in marketing or business in the future, either at Finlandia’s International School of Business or by utilizing FinnU’s participation in the Council of Independent Colleges.

“Having grown up in Calumet I have gotten used to all the different climates the U.P. throws at us,” Bausano expressed. “I have gotten myself into different hobbies for the different seasons. During the summer I enjoy time at the lake, in the fall I enjoy football, in winter I do a little skiing and challenge friends to some hockey and in the spring I enjoy playing basketball.”

Bausano also expressed that he enjoys Finlandia’s environment. He explained it as “friendly and like a small family.”
