Following upgrades, employees will need to have computers reconnect to network

More than 100 honored on Spring 2017 Dean’s and Honors Lists

Kelsie Richards of Houghton is one of more than 100 FinnU students to make the Spring 2017 Dean’s or Honors List. This photo is from the annual Honors and Awards Banquet, where Richards won two awards.

Finlandia University is proud to announce its Spring 2017 semester Dean’s and Honors List Students. In total 104 students earned honors, including 62 who earned Dean’s List honors for having a Grade Point Average of 3.75 or above.

Kamrad promoted to Director of TRIO Pre-College Programs

Dave Kamrad recently accepted the position of Director of TRIO Pre-College Programs at Finlandia University. Kamrad has been with the University for nearly 30 years.

“I have seen a lot of good that these programs can do for our students,” Kamrad said. “I’m looking forward to continuing to build relationships with schools and students to see sustained success for our programs.”

Free events to be hosted every Monday in July

North Wind Books is hosting a four-part series of events this July titled Children’s Unique Books. These events will highlight unique themed children’s books and each feature a special guest host. Events are free, open to the public and no RSVP is required. Each event begins at 11 a.m.
