Come and meet with faculty, staff, and students at Finlandia University!

This FREE event is for everyone who is interested in learning more about studying at Finlandia University.

Meet Finlandia Day Schedule

Thursday, March 29

6-9pm: Check-in to spend the night at Finlandia Hall (Residence Hall)

Friday, March 30

10-10:30am: Check-in and Continental Breakfast (Finnish American Heritage Center)

        10:30am-2pm: Meet Finlandia Activities

  • Welcome from Finlandia University President Philip Johnson
  • Meet with the Financial Aid Office to talk about financial aid options.
  • Tour campus with current students as your guide (parent tour guided by Admissions Team)
  • Eat lunch in the campus cafeteria with students and Admissions Team
  • Tour of local area and attractions
  • Finlandia Fair - Representatives from offices and departments on campus will be available to meet with you about the resources available to you as a student at Finlandia. See list of participants below.
  • An academic experience with students and faculty
  • Chat with your Enrollment Officer

Finlandia Fair Participants

Admissions. This is your gateway to Finlandia. Enrollment officers will help you get started on your degree and future career.

Academic Programs. Learn about careers and the degree programs at Finlandia.

Financial Aid. Financial Aid helps students maximize their financial aid awards, which include institutional, federal, and state scholarships and grants, and work-study opportunities. 100% of full-time Finlandia students receive financial assistance.

Academic Support. Learn about the academic support services available to all Finlandia students.

Athletics. Find out what it takes to play on a Finlandia Lions team. Coaches will share information about Finlandia's 14 NCAA D-III sports.

Housing and Residence Life. Bring your questions about on-campus living, room arrangements, meal plans, and life in the residence hall.

Student Life. If you want to get involved at Finlandia, this is the office to visit. Find out about Student Senate, student clubs and organizations, volunteer opportunities, and additional campus activities.

Army/Air Force ROTC. Learn about ROTC scholarship opportunities at Finlandia.

Area Information. Find out why Hancock is a great place to live and study. Learn more about local entertainment, outdoor activities, arts, festivals, and cultural and historical events.
