Finlandia has partnered with Mr. and Mrs. Alexander "Sandy" and
Marianna McAfee and artificial turf industry leader Pro Grass, LLC, for the Main Competition Field playing surface.
—The durable all-weather surface looks and feels like natural grass.
—A proprietary blend of re-engineered rubber and sand gives the turf natural footing and improves overall play experience and safety.
—The playing surface can be used April through November, a schedule impossible with natural turf, given the Copper Country climate.
—The advantages of artificial turf include better drainage, reduced maintenance and upkeep costs, and consistent, all-season playability.
