Medical Assistant Career Opportunities

Medical Assistants work in a wide range of medical facilities. Traditionally, they work in ambulatory (outpatient) care centers, urgent care facilities, and physician's offices. The cross-training of the Medical Assistant in administrative and clinical duties frequently makes the Medical Assistant more marketable than individuals specializing in office management only. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects Medical Assisting to be one of the fastest growing occupations between 2005 and 2015.
