Why the mix of business and liberal arts?

Because we believe this approach gives our graduates the broad knowledge base needed to succeed in the workplace and adapt to changes throughout their careers.  Government statistics indicate that college graduates change jobs more than three times during their first ten years of work.  To succeed in this environment, you must know how to create and evaluate new ideas, think critically, write and speak well, and work effectively with others.

What are my degree options? 

A Bachelors degree in Business Administration (BBA) with concentrations in:

• Accounting
• Arts Management
• Criminal Justice
• International Business
• Management and Entrepreneurship
• Marketing
• Sports Management
• A 2+2 BBA program available to holders of an Associates degree in Applied Science that completion ofthe four year BBA with two additional years of study beyond the AAS
• A minor in Business will soon be available to students in other Finlandia degree programs

As you travel the Finlandia ISB degree path, you'll work directly with your professors and gain hands-on experience.

The Business School's focus on written and spoken communication is reinforced in small, interactive classes that encourage discussion among peers and faculty.  There'll be opportunities to work with start-up firms, study abroad, and gain valuable practical experience through internships.  When you complete your BBA, you will be prepared to adapt to a changing world and to changing technology.
