Kim is a licensed masters, accredited clinical social worker in practice for 15 years. A graduate of the University of Michigan (1994), kim has continually trained in various modalities, including mindfulness-based stress management, energy psychology, and emotional freedom technique.

Kim also receives referrals from physicians, nurse practitioners, massage therapists, chiropractors, holistic practitioners, and area mental health providers.
