Men's Hockey Season Opener and Spaghetti Dinner, October 15 at Calumet Coliseum
HANCOCK, MI - The Finlandia University Men's Hockey program will host a Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser Saturday, October 15, 2011, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Calumet Coliseum, Calumet, Mich.
On the menu are spaghetti with both meat and marinara sauce, salad, rolls, dessert, and beverages. Proceeds will benefit the Calumet Coliseum and the Finlandia Men's Hockey program.
Following the dinner, the Finlandia Men's Hockey team plays their season opener: an exhibition game versus the Elliot Lake Bobcats , a Canadian junior ice hockey team based in Ontario.
The puck drops at 7:00 p.m. at the Calumet Coliseum.
Dinner tickets, which include admission to the hockey game, are $10 for adults; $7 for children 12 and under; and free for children under 5.
Tickets are available in advance at Center Ice Skate and Sport, Houghton and Calumet, Irish Times Pub & Restaurant, Laurium, and at the door the day of game.
