"A Christmas Story" is Nordic Film Thursday, December 9, at 2:00 and 6:00 p.m.

HANCOCK, MI - The Finlandia University Finnish American Heritage Center will show the Finnish film "Joulutarina" (A Christmas Story) on Thursday, December 9, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

"A Christmas Story" is a holiday film for the entire family.  Set against a breathtaking landscape, this magical film reveals the untold childhood of Santa Claus.

Dubbed in English, the film is about 90 minutes long.

There is no charge to attend the film, but donations are accepted.

The Finnish American Heritage Center is at 435 Quincy St., Hancock.
