Hello, my name is Tim Nakkula, the Director of Food Service at Finlandia University.

I would like to extend a hearty welcome to all new and returning students, faculty, staff and guests of the Finlandia community. The food service staff looks forward to serving you with a smile, a bit of socializing, and even an occasional joke or two.

We offer a wide variety of meal choices, trying to keep up with the latest trends in culinary delights, while keeping the all-time favorites in our menu cycle. We are also open to suggestions.  If you have a new menu idea, feel free to stop by in person, call me, or drop me an e-mail. I am positive we can accommodate your needs.

Patrons with food allergies are advised to contact the Director of Food Service upon entering the Finlandia Hall Cafe.

The Food Service Department serves three meals per weekday and four meals per weekend in the Finlandia Hall Café. In addition to entrées we offer a full soup, salad and deli bar weekdays during lunch and dinner service. Meal times are:

Weekday Schedule

Full Breakfast                 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Continental Breakfast    9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Lunch                             11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Dinner                               5:00p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Weekend Schedule

Lunch / Brunch                12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Dinner                             4:30 p.m.   - 5:30 p.m.

Finlandia Food Service also provides on-campus catering.
