Veteran Education Benefits

Finlandia University proudly participates in the Veterans Education Benefits programs with the Department of Veterans Affairs. If you would like information pertaining to the GI Bill® benefits & programs, we encourage you to contact our office or to visit the GI Bill® website.

Veteran Benefits Forms

  • Paper Form 22-1990
    If you prefer to NOT file for benefits online through the VONAPP process, you will need to print out this paper form and submit it to the VA, along with a copy of your DD-214 Form.  We recommend you complete the application for benefits online.
  • Veteran Benefits Guidelines for Finlandia University
    This form MUST be filled out and returned to our office before your first semester’s certification will be done.

Request for Certification of Credits 

This form MUST be filled out each prior to each semester in order to allow us to certify your credits with the VA for that upcoming semester.

 Visit www.gibill.va.gov to review other forms that you may need to submit with the Veterans Affairs Office.

Please note that Finlandia University does not currently participate in the Tuition Assistance program.

Tutoring Services – Teaching & Learning Center

The TLC (Teaching & Learning Center) offers academic counseling, peer and professional tutoring, study skill workshops, study groups, computer literacy development, and the use of a small computer lab. These services are free of charge and we encourage any students that are in need of assistance to take advantage of this opportunity. Please click on the link above for more information.
