Regional business owners-and everyone in the
community-were invited to experience the dynamic connections among art,
technology, industry and education on October 17, 2012, at the Finlandia
University Jutila Center, Hancock.
"Conversations About Design," the second annual SEEDesign
seminar, was an interactive, multi-media art installation that demonstrated
with fun and spontaneity some of the many ways creative services can increase a
business's bottom line.
In a display of lighting design and engineering, the Jutila
Center building was lluminated during the event. (See photo at right)
And through photography, videography, and recorded
interviews with creative professionals the installation celebrated the
collaboration that occurs among business and creative professionals.

architecture, and marketing.

installation included The Upper Peninsula Marketing Department, Inc.; IG
Graphics; Monte Consulting, Inc.; Opusweb.com; Brassard Media; Brockit.com; OHM,
Inc.; On Air Voices; Gary Brown; and Lester Brent.
