International School of Business Launches New E-Newsletter

The Finlandia International School of Business (ISB) has launched a new e-newsletter. The e-newsletter allows people to stay up-to-date on the ISB alumni, faculty and program news. Currently, the newsletter is scheduled to go out once a semester, but Kevin Manninen, Dean of the ISB, is eager to make the newsletter more frequent. The first newsletter released on Monday, Sept. 28 and can be viewed here.

McAfee Field to Open to All Students Oct. 1-7

Beginning Oct. 1, McAfee Field will be available for all students to utilize for outdoor fitness and recreational purposes through Wednesday Oct. 7. It will be available during the following hours:

Monday through Friday  8am to 9am 12pm to 1pm 5pm to 7pm Saturday and Sunday  12pm to 3pm When using the field, please follow the guidelines listed below: Sign-in / Temperature Check Masks to be worn at all times Social distancing must be maintained. Alumni Spotlight: Terrance Fuller (’19) Talks Career Success at Acrisure

Terrance Fuller is a 2019 graduate in accounting who currently works as a Senior Accountant for Acrisure , a Grand Rapids-based insurance brokerage firm that is the fastest growing in its industry. Fuller was recently interviewed by senior accounting major Ethan St. Germain.  Fuller shared some thoughts on the accounting program and he also gave advice for our current students.

Nathan Perreault Joins ISB as Assistant Professor of Management

 

Alumnus Nathan Perreault joined Finlandia’s International School of Business this past year as an Assistant Professor of Management. 

Perreault has a background in teaching and business. He has an Associate degree in Medical Billing and Coding Specialist and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from Finlandia University, as well as a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Western Governors University.

Voter Registration Day Comes to FinnU on Sept. 22

On September 22, 2020, Americans will celebrate National Voter Registration Day with a massive cross-country effort to register voters well in advance of Election Day this November.
