Katelyn Fogle has recently
joined the Finlandia University Athletic Department as the new head
women’s volleyball coach. She attended Michigan Technological
University, receiving her bachelor’s degree in psychology. Fogle
earned her masters of science degree in sports administration from Valparaiso
University.
Fogle, originally from Sycamore, Illinois, was a varsity letter winner
in volleyball and basketball at Sycamore High School. As a volleyball
player at Sycamore High School, Fogle was a two time all-conference
selection. Her team was conference and regional champs in her junior
and senior seasons and sectional champs her senior year. Fogle then
attended Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan, where
she was a member of the volleyball team from 2002-2004.
For the winter of 2005-06, Fogle was the assistant varsity volleyball
coach at Chassell High School in Chassell, Michigan. Fogle followed
that up in the fall of 2006 as the 8th grade volleyball coach for Wheeler
Middle School in Valparaiso, Indiana.
A member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association, Fogle currently
resides in Hancock, Michigan.
