Whom it May Concern:
On behalf
of Portage Sports Medicine Institute and Finlandia University, we
would like to welcome your team to our campus. Finlandia has
contracted with Portage Sports Medicine Institute to provide services
for all athletic events.
We have
a well equipped athletic training room at your disposal. Modalities
that your student-athletes may utilize include ultrasound, electrical
stimuation, heat and/or ice.
During
game time, we will have a ten gallon cooler filled with ice and
water, a biohazard kit, and a chest of ice set up on your bench.
If you need any additional items, please feel free to give us a
call and let us know, our staff will do what ever we can to accommodate
you and your team.
If an athletic trainer
is unable to travel with your team, please just send a note specifying
the specific injury and type of treatment your athlete needs and
we will be happy to take care of them for you. We do ask that
you provide all the necessary taping supplies.
If you
have any questions, please contact us in the athletic training room
at Finlandia. We will be happy to answer them as promptly
as possible. Our staff wishes you the best of luck here at
Finlandia University and with you upcoming events.
