Finlandia FUEL Studio Opens Monday, Sept. 10
HANCOCK, MI - Starting Monday, September 10, the student-run Finlandia University Experiential Learning (FUEL) Studio will be open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily.
Located in Suite 307 on the ground floor of the Jutila Center campus, the FUEL studio is a student-run retail business that markets and sells products made by Finlandia students and alumni and local artists. It is open to the public.
"Students in the Finlandia International School of Business and International School of Art & Design are cooperating in the operation of the FUEL Studio," says Kevin Manninen, Finlandia associate professor of business. "They are gaining valuable experience running a retail establishment, and taking care of things like accounting, establishing vendor relationships, inventory control, and marketing and promotion."
Check out the Fuel Studio on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/#!/FuelStudio. The Jutila Center is at 200 Michigan Street in Hancock.
