Kivajat Children's Dance Group
Begins October 3
HANCOCK, MI - The Kivajat
Finnish Dancers, a children's Finnish American folk dance group directed by Kay
Seppala, will begin its fall season October 3, 2011.
Practice sessions will meet
Mondays from 3:45 to 5:00 p.m. at the Finlandia University Finnish American
Heritage Center. The dance group is for boys and girls grades 3 to 7. Children are
invited to attend one or two practice sessions before they commit to the group.
The cost to participate in
the Kivajat Children's Dance group is $30 per family. Traditional Finnish
costumes are provided.
The Finnish American Heritage
Center is located on the campus of Finlandia University at 435 Quincy St.,
Hancock.
