Sibelius Festival is September 25 to 28 in Hancock and Calumet
Two full-length concerts will take place. The first is Wednesday, September 26, at 7:00 p.m., at the Finnish American Heritage Center, Hancock. The second concert is Friday, September 28, at 7:30 p.m., at the Calumet Theatre, Calumet. In addition, a free, public "Meet the Musicians" presentation will take place Tuesday, September 25, at 7:00 p.m., at the Finnish American Heritage Center. All this year's featured musicians-a classical music piano/cello duo and a Finnish folk music quartet-will present different full-length programs at both the Wednesday and Friday concerts. Tickets for either concert are $10 per person for adults and seniors and $5 for students. Finlandia students may attend free with a valid university ID.
